Launching two new features for paid subscribers

First, thank you for supporting Southlands by being a paid subscriber. Even if no one read my work, I’d still be spending too much time reading and writing—so what a dream to have not just readers, but readers who support those habits.

As I noted last week, I’m launching some new, paid-subscriber-only features. First, I’ll send out quarterly “Notes from the Southern Wilds.” Consider this an analog experiment: a little hand-written essay, or maybe something like a prose poem, written from out in the field (where I often feel I do my best writing). I’m still scheduling my fall, so I’m not sure where or when the first note will launch, but if you want to receive it, I’ll need your mailing address. To provide that, reply to this email.
